Uzbek citizens need the appropriate national visa or temporary residence permit for long-term study. The application uses the institution's mediation letter and requires finances, insurance, accommodation and identity records.

Financial evidence
Show sufficient monthly resources and return-travel funds at the amount current under Lithuanian migration rules. Bank statements, scholarship documents or sponsor evidence may be used, subject to the application's document list.
Work and post-study opportunities
The work must not undermine study progress. Confirm whether the 20-hour limit applies to the specific degree level and residence status before signing a contract.
After completing studies, graduates may apply for a temporary residence permit for up to 12 months to search for employment or pursue self-employment.
Student life
Dormitories are often the lowest-cost option; shared flats and private rentals are also available. Immigration-compliant health insurance is required, and students should confirm how local healthcare payments and registration work.
