September or October is the main intake. January and May starts exist for selected programmes. Undergraduate UCAS and competitive scholarship deadlines can be much earlier than general postgraduate deadlines.
Admissions
An Uzbek 11-year school certificate often does not provide direct entry to a UK bachelor's degree by itself; a recognised foundation, A-level-equivalent qualification or additional study may be required. Master's applicants normally need a recognised bachelor's degree with the required classification.

1. Shortlist a recognised institution and programme. 2. Confirm how the Uzbek qualification is assessed and prepare translations. 3. Submit the admission application and satisfy any academic or language conditions. 4. Accept the offer, pay any required deposit and obtain the institution documents needed for immigration. 5. After meeting offer conditions and receiving the CAS, apply online for the Student visa and complete identity, TB and ATAS steps where applicable. 6. Arrange accommodation, insurance and all post-arrival registration steps.
Visa from Uzbekistan
Uzbek citizens need a Student visa for most long-term higher-education programmes. A licensed sponsor and CAS, English evidence, finances, identity documents and any required TB or ATAS certificate are central.

Financial evidence
Show outstanding first-year course fees plus GBP 1,529 per month in London or GBP 1,171 per month outside London, for up to nine months. Funds normally must be held for 28 consecutive days unless an exemption or accepted sponsorship applies.
Work and post-study opportunities
The exact condition appears on the immigration status and depends on sponsor and course. Self-employment and professional sport are not allowed under the Student route.
Graduate visa: 2 years if applied by 31 Dec 2026, 18 months from 1 Jan 2027, and 3 years for doctoral graduates.
Student life
Options include university halls, private student residences and shared rentals. Student visa applicants pay the Immigration Health Surcharge for NHS access, but prescriptions, dental care and some services can still cost extra.
