1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how SAMI-SM MCHJ uses cookies and similar technologies on www.sami.uz and related public or portal pages. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small text file placed on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, and identifiers that recognise a browser or record an interaction.

2. Essential cookies

Essential technologies are used where necessary to provide a service, protect forms and accounts, remember security or consent choices, balance traffic, and maintain sessions. The website may not work correctly if these are blocked.

Typical duration: the session, several hours, or up to twelve months where needed to remember a security or consent preference.

3. Preference cookies

Preference technologies remember choices such as language, application country, display settings, or previously dismissed notices.

Typical duration: from the session up to twelve months.

4. Analytics cookies

With any consent required by law, analytics tools help us understand visits, page use, referrals, device categories, errors, and service performance. SAMI may use Google Analytics and similar services. We configure analytics to collect only information reasonably needed for measurement and use available privacy controls where appropriate.

Typical duration: from a few minutes up to twenty-four months, depending on the tool and configuration.

5. Marketing and advertising cookies

With any consent required by law, marketing technologies may measure campaigns, limit repeated adverts, create audiences, or show relevant advertising. Tools may include:

  • Meta/Facebook Pixel and Meta advertising;
  • Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing;
  • Microsoft advertising or Microsoft Clarity interaction analytics; and
  • campaign tags used by advertising, referral, or social-media services.

These providers may combine information with activity on other services under their own notices. SAMI does not control a provider’s independent processing.

Typical duration: from the session up to twenty-four months, although a provider may use a different period stated in its own policy.

6. Microsoft Clarity

If enabled with the required consent, Microsoft Clarity may record interaction patterns such as clicks, scrolling, device details, and page navigation to help identify usability problems. We do not intentionally use it to capture passwords or the content of student documents. Sensitive pages should be masked or excluded where the tool allows.

7. Remarketing

Remarketing allows an advertising provider to recognise that a browser visited a SAMI page and later display a SAMI advert on another service. Remarketing is optional and is used only where permitted. You can withdraw website consent and also use the advertising provider’s own preference controls.

8. Current cookies and changes

The exact names used can change when providers update their technology. Browser developer tools and the website consent interface provide the most current device-specific list. Categories, purposes, providers, and material changes will be reflected in this policy.

9. Your choices

You can accept, reject, or change optional cookie choices through the website controls where available. You can also delete or block cookies in browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, saved choices, or secure form submission.

Withdrawing consent does not make earlier permitted processing unlawful. Some opt-out or consent cookies must remain so the website remembers your choice.

10. Contact

Questions about cookies or tracking may be sent to info@sami.uz.
