1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern use of www.sami.uz, related SAMI public web pages, enquiry forms, and general information services. “SAMI”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean SAMI-SM MCHJ, an education consultancy based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. “You” means any visitor or user of the website.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you create a portal account, use an application service, or buy a paid service, additional terms apply, including the Portal User Agreement, Student Application Agreement, and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

2. What SAMI does

SAMI provides information and support relating to international education, including course and university research, counselling, document preparation, application coordination, and general pre-departure guidance. SAMI is an independent education consultancy. Unless we expressly say otherwise in writing, SAMI is not a university, school, visa authority, immigration adviser, government body, scholarship provider, or guarantor of any outcome.

3. Permitted use of the website

You may use the website for lawful personal, educational, or business-enquiry purposes. You may view, print, or save reasonable extracts for your own non-commercial use.

You must not:

  • use the website in breach of applicable law or another person’s rights;
  • submit false, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, or unlawful material;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
  • attempt to bypass security, access restricted areas, scrape the website at scale, or interfere with normal operation;
  • upload malware, malicious code, or files you do not have the right to share;
  • copy, republish, sell, or commercially exploit website content without written permission; or
  • use information on the website to send spam or carry out fraud.

We may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect users, staff, systems, legal rights, or service integrity.

Profile-photo rules

A portal profile photo must be a clear, current photograph of the account holder and must show only one visible human face. Illustrations, mascots, objects, documents, logos, group photographs, misleading images, abusive material, and images of another person are not permitted as profile photos.

SAMI may use automated face-detection tools and staff review to check a profile photo. A non-compliant image may be rejected, removed, or reverted to the previous photo. SAMI staff may upload a compliant photo for the account holder. If a user repeatedly breaches these rules or the portal rules of conduct, SAMI may lock the staff-provided photo and prevent the user from changing or removing it until SAMI unlocks it.

4. Information is general guidance

We try to keep information accurate and current, but universities, schools, governments, visa authorities, scholarship providers, and other organisations can change requirements, fees, deadlines, processing times, and policies without notice. Website content is general information and is not legal, immigration, tax, financial, or guaranteed admissions advice.

Before acting, you should confirm important requirements with SAMI and the relevant institution or authority. Content displayed for a country or programme may not apply to every applicant.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for checking that information you give us is accurate, complete, current, and lawfully provided. You must review applications and documents before they are submitted in your name, meet deadlines communicated to you, and tell us promptly about relevant changes.

You remain responsible for personal decisions, including the institution or programme selected, financial commitments, travel, accommodation, insurance, and compliance with immigration or visa conditions.

6. Intellectual property

The website, SAMI name and branding, original text, page design, databases, graphics, software, and other materials created by or for SAMI are protected by copyright, trademark, database, and other intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, logos, photographs, and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

No licence is granted except the limited right to use the website under these terms. See Copyright & Intellectual Property for details and permission requests.

7. Privacy, cookies, and communications

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains the technologies used on the website and how choices can be managed.

If you submit an enquiry or create an account, you agree that we may contact you about that request through the contact details and channels you provide. Marketing communications are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

8. Applications and paid services

An enquiry does not create an application contract. Application support is governed by the Student Application Agreement and any service-package terms accepted by the student.

The first eligible application may be provided free under SAMI’s current service model. Additional applications, premium services, and third-party charges may require payment. The scope and refund treatment are explained before purchase and in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Third-party websites and services

The website may link to or integrate universities, payment providers, analytics services, maps, social networks, advertising platforms, or other third parties. Their services are controlled by them and may have separate terms and privacy notices. A link or integration does not mean SAMI guarantees or accepts responsibility for the third party.

See the Third-Party Services Notice.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, withdraw, or change any part of the website for maintenance, security, legal, operational, or commercial reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may correct content or remove material without notice.

11. No guaranteed outcome

SAMI cannot guarantee admission, an offer, scholarship, visa approval, immigration outcome, employment, university response, or processing time. Decisions are made independently by universities, schools, scholarship bodies, employers, government departments, embassies, and visa authorities. Read the Disclaimer.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation and any mandatory consumer right.

To the extent permitted by law, SAMI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by reliance on information that should have been verified with the relevant institution or authority, third-party acts or omissions, service interruption beyond our reasonable control, or loss caused by inaccurate or late information supplied by a user.

Where liability relates to a paid SAMI service, any contractual limitation in the applicable service agreement also applies. These terms do not reduce rights that applicable consumer-protection law makes mandatory.

13. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms when our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The current version published on this page applies from publication. Material changes affecting an existing paid service will be handled under the applicable agreement and law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without removing any mandatory protection that applies to a consumer in another jurisdiction.

Please first use our Complaints Procedure so we can try to resolve the issue. If a dispute is not resolved, the parties may agree in writing to mediation or arbitration. Otherwise, the dispute may be submitted to a court with lawful jurisdiction, including the competent courts of Tashkent where permitted.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms may be sent to info@sami.uz or to SAMI-SM MCHJ, Niyozbek Passage 3, 6a, Tashkent 100000, Uzbekistan.
